Rooster! Founded two years ago and came to fill the morning and the nightlife of the historic center of Athens! Located in Agia Irini 4 Square in the center of Athens behind the old Cathedral. Fully renovated combining modern and classical decoration, with reference to the distinctive black facade. Allows you from early morning until late at night to enjoy the best coffee - drink city but also causes you to try the culinary 'Artists' curated by John Vougiouko. Emerged for the best quality products at very affordable prices and added to the hot spot on the world list of Louis Vuitton as the ideal place for a break from life in Athens charged inviting and more restless artistic life of the city since the Rooster supports young artists hosting exhibitions: paintings, photography, etc.

Genre

The hot spot for all hours of the day but as time is progressing its transforming from a cafe into a bar. The evening is meant for a drink accompanied with music with resident DJs and parallel art fairs. Very often we're arranging electro and disco parties

Mediterranean Cuisine

On the menu we'll find our exquisite cocktails, like our favorite fruity Lady Marmelade, rum based. If you get hungry, there are excellent options Mediterranean cuisine, sandwiches, finger food and arab pies for snacking. The prices of drinks not exceed 7€, cocktails range between 8-9 €, while the dishes at 7-9 €. The Rooster will find open from 9.00 in the morning for coffee and very rich breakfast , till very late at night.

With a good selection of beers, wines and refreshing cocktails puts us in the mood every time to try another flavor. If you have an appetite; you'll find a rich breakfast to start your day and enough dishes for lunch or dinner under the Athenian sky. The desserts are not missing from the list and are indeed wonderful.

Agia Irini Square

At night, be sure to take in the buzz of this lively neighborhood. Walk the streets and hop in Rooster and join the locals as they enjoy their drinks out in the square of Agia Irini after the bar capacity has reached its limit; the Agia Irini Square smack in the middle of Monastiraki is surrounded by some of the city's coolest bars and eateries and is where locals socialize (drink in hand) when the bars are full, creating a scene that can only be found in the most popular islands at the height of summer. Monastiraki is where Athens's modern heart beats to its own rhythm.

Situated at the heart of the city centre, Monastiraki is a unique merge of styles, eras and cultures, vibrant and ever-changing – yet, steadily dedicated to commerce and social encounter. If you stand at the centre of Monastiraki Square and take a 360 degrees look around you, you get a pretty full representation of the Athenian past and present facing you from within only a few square meters. Recently restored, the Square is paved with mosaic “flows” of marble, stone and wrought iron symbolizing Mediterranean diversity.
